Keep every Turo car ready: papers, maintenance and crews
Updated October 30, 2026, 4 minute read
An expired registration usually gets noticed the morning of the trip. With a few cars you can remember the dates. With ten, you need one screen that tells you what's wrong before a guest finds out.
What "Not ready" means
Reservations and Fleet Status flag a car when something needs attention before its trip.
- Registration, insurance card or inspection expired or expiring
- No registration on file
- Maintenance overdue or open damage
- Marked at the mechanic or body shop
- The listing is a draft, snoozed or unlisted
Do all the papers at once
"Bulk papers" on Fleet Status takes photos or PDFs of registrations, insurance cards and inspections, matches each to its car by VIN or plate, and proposes the expiry date for you to check. One document per photo, close up, reads best. If one is too small to read, DriveIt says so and doesn't guess.
Service and crews
Maintenance shows what's due across the fleet. The Work list sends jobs to your mechanic, car wash or other crews, with photos, checklists and start conditions, like when the car is back in a geofence. Crews can invoice you and get paid by card.
See the whole fleet
Fleet Status shows every car's state: on a trip, available, or at the shop. Listings shows each car's live Turo status and has "Snooze on Turo" to block a car until a chosen day, and you're notified if Turo changes a car's status.
