Turo fleet automation: what runs on its own, what you confirm
DriveIt automates the parts of running a Turo fleet that don't need a decision: calendars kept in step with Turo, messages that go out on time, readings pulled from the car, notices matched to the right trip. Anything that charges a guest is prepared for you and filed when you confirm it. Every tool is free for the rest of 2026.
What runs on its own
Calendars and trips
- Turo trips block your calendar
- When Turo reports a new trip, the car is blocked on your DriveIt calendar and booking site for the trip's real pickup and return times. A date change replaces the block; a cancellation removes it. Once an hour DriveIt re-reads your Turo trips in case a report was missed.
- Direct bookings block Turo
- A direct booking adds a block on the car's Turo calendar, noted with the booking it belongs to, and the block comes off if the booking is cancelled, declined or expires unpaid. DriveIt is the only direct booking platform that syncs both ways.
- Turo prices copied every hour
- Turo's daily prices are read into DriveIt each hour, so a direct price set as Turo's price plus or minus an amount follows along without you touching it.
- Turo prices re-applied by your rules
- Price Autopilot rules you turned on run at the time you set: Turo's dynamic price plus or minus, fixed prices for event dates, last-minute and far-out tiers, a lowest price. Every rule starts off, Preview shows every car and day before anything is sent, and a run stops if any day would change by more than your limit.
- Books kept up
- With QuickBooks Online connected, trips, refunds and expenses go across on their own, each car as a class.
Guests and messages
- Scheduled messages
- Messages you wrote once go to Turo guests and direct guests around booking, pickup and return, with the guest's name, the car, the pickup spot and the times filled in. If a Turo trip is cancelled, its pending messages are skipped.
- Turo conversations in your inbox
- Every few minutes DriveIt mirrors each Turo trip's messages into your inbox and tells you about new ones. Your replies go back to Turo. Nothing is answered for you.
- Warnings you'd otherwise miss
- A notification when a guest you marked Do not rent books again, when a guest checks out six hours or more early, and when Turo changes a car's listing status.
- Walk-around photos posted
- Record a walk-around video and DriveIt cuts it into photos, reads the plate, odometer and fuel, and finds the trip. When the plate is read with confidence and only one trip fits, the photos post to Turo on their own 15 minutes later, unless you post first or stop it.
Money and records
- Earnings from Turo's emails
- Each trip's earnings, every payout, the status of a toll invoice and Turo's answer on a review removal are read from Turo's emails, forwarded from Gmail, and matched to the trip.
- Reviews pulled in
- Turo reviews come in on their own and show per car as the last 10 trips, so a car that keeps getting low stars stands out.
- Late return watch
- Every ten minutes DriveIt checks recently ended Turo trips against the car's tracker. A car that isn't back at its return spot gets a Report late return button on the trip.
- Geofence rules
- Draw an area on the map and set what happens when a car enters or leaves it: an email on any tracker, or lock, unlock, horn or kill on MooveTrax.
Prepared for you, filed when you say so
These change a trip or charge a guest, so DriveIt does the lookup and the typing, and you press the button.
On the trip
- Check-in and check-out
- Odometer and fuel are filled in from the tracker or read from the walk-around video. You check them and file. An unfiled check-in turns red in its last hour.
- Parking location
- The nearest parking location, a fresh map link to where the car is, and the key handoff you used last time are filled in. You post it, and DriveIt checks that Turo shows it.
- License review
- DriveIt checks the photos look like a real license and shows what Turo verified. You approve, or ask the guest for new photos.
Money owed to you
- Tolls and tickets
- AI reads the notice and matches each charge to the trip that covers it. You press Post to Turo, and the row follows Turo's invoice to paid. If the same amount is already posted on that trip, it warns you first.
- Extra miles
- Once Turo's check-out reading is in, DriveIt shows the miles over, the listing's fee and the total. You post the charge.
- Late returns
- You press Report late return. DriveIt checks the car's position at that moment and files with Turo.
Paperwork
- Review removal
- The answers to Turo's form are drafted from the review, your messages and the car's GPS. You correct them and copy them into Turo's form, which can't be filled in automatically.
- Papers in bulk
- Upload photos of registrations, insurance cards and inspections. Each is matched to its car and the expiry date proposed. You check and save.
- Snooze on Turo
- Block a car on Turo until a day you choose, from DriveIt, and unsnooze it the same way.
What stays with you
- Every reply to a guest. DriveIt sends the scheduled messages you wrote and nothing else.
- Every filing that charges a guest or reports a trip. Check-ins, tolls, extra miles, late returns, parking locations: DriveIt fills in the form, you press the button.
- Every decision about a guest. A Do not rent flag warns you when a Turo guest books again. It can't stop the booking, and nothing is ever sent to the guest.
- Turo's review removal form. DriveIt drafts the answers; you copy them into Turo's form yourself.
- Your prices. Price Autopilot only runs rules you wrote and turned on, shows every car and day in a preview first, and stops a run that would move a day by more than your limit. How the price rules work.
- Your Turo account. DriveIt is a co-host on your Turo Teams. Listings, trips and payouts stay on Turo, and nothing here contacts Turo guests about booking elsewhere.
If you're looking for a person rather than software, the virtual assistant page says what a hired assistant can and can't do inside DriveIt.
How you know what it did
The Turo logs page in your account lists what DriveIt sent to Turo and whether it worked: calendar blocks, check-ins, charges, messages. Notifications tell you when something needs you, in the app and by push.
What it needs from you
Invite DriveIt on Turo Teams
A co-host invitation is what lets DriveIt see trips and act on them: block dates, file readings, post tolls.
Forward Turo's emails from Gmail
Earnings, payouts, invoice status and review answers come from Turo's emails. Two settings in Gmail.
Connect a tracker, if you have one
Bouncie or MooveTrax fills in readings, watches late returns and runs geofence rules. Without one, you enter readings by hand or from a walk-around video.
Questions about automating a Turo fleet
Does DriveIt run my Turo fleet without me?
No. It runs the parts that don't need a decision: calendars, scheduled messages, readings, matching notices to trips, reading earnings from Turo's emails. Anything that changes a trip or charges a guest is prepared for you to confirm, and every guest reply is yours.
Does it reply to Turo guests automatically?
Only with scheduled messages you wrote, at the times you set. Conversations are mirrored into your inbox and you answer them.
Does it post tolls to Turo on its own?
No. It reads the notice, matches the trip and prepares the filing. You press Post to Turo. It warns you first if the same amount is already posted on that trip.
Does it change my Turo prices?
Only through rules you wrote and turned on. Price Autopilot re-applies them at the times you set; booked days are skipped, days you priced by hand on DriveIt's calendar are left alone unless the rule says otherwise, and a run stops before sending anything if a day would move by more than your limit. Preview shows every car and day first.
Is the calendar sync really two-way?
Yes. Turo trips block your DriveIt calendar and booking site, and direct bookings block the car on Turo, with the block removed if the booking is cancelled. DriveIt is the only direct booking platform that does both.
How do I know what it did?
The Turo logs page in your account lists what DriveIt sent to Turo and whether it worked. Notifications tell you when a filing needs you, in the app and by push.
How much does DriveIt cost?
Every DriveIt tool is free for the rest of 2026: no subscription and no booking commission from DriveIt. On direct bookings, Stripe's card fee (2.9% + 30¢ on standard US cards) goes to Stripe.
What do I need to connect Turo?
A co-host invitation on Turo Teams to DriveIt's co-host account, and Turo's emails forwarded from your Gmail. Turo setup explains both.
